CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Councilman Todd Rutledge led the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt ask for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the December meeting. Councilman Rutledge made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilman Niles seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt ask for a motion to approve the minutes from the December meeting. Councilman Talley made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilman Niles seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Swearing in of elected official
Mayor Wyatt swore in Brant Talley as councilmember. He thanked Mike Austin for his service to the town.
UPDATES
Mayor Wyatt made the announcement that the sewer taps are ready to be hooked up and used.
DEPARTMENT REPORTS
No updates to report
SHERIFFS DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for December. The report is attached to minutes.
LIGHTS
RECREATION
Councilman Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
ROADS AND STREETS
Councilman Niles reports Valley Lane and Walker Street need to be cleared of pine straw debris.

ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilman Talley made the motion to close the meeting. Councilman Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
