CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Councilmember Brant Talley led the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the April meeting. Councilmember Keese made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilmember Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the April meeting. Councilmember Talley made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilmember Keese seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Amended 2022-2023 Budget
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve amended budget. Coucilmember Talley made the motion to approve. Councilmember Adams seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.
Mauldin Contract 2024-2025
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the 24-25 contract. Councilmember Adams made a motion to approve. Councilmember Talley seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.
Fence Quote
Mayor Wyatt tabled the ballfield fence quote until June.

SHERIFF’S DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for April. The report is attached to minutes.
RECREATION
Councilmember Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
ROADS AND STREETS
Nothing to report
LIGHTS
Councilmember Adam reports light at Overhill Dr. and Pinecrest Dr. are now working.
MAINTENANCE REPORT
Councilmember Talley report general maintenance and duties. The cemetery has been mowed.

Chad Steward gave updates on business in County.

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Adams made the motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Talley seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
