Mayor Samuel Allen swore in Nathan Wyatt, Newly Elected Mayor
Mayor Nathan Wyatt swore in Newly Elected Councilman Ben Niles
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Pastor Kenny Sheriff lead the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt ask for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the December meetings. Councilman Austin made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilwoman Adams seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt ask for a motion to approve the minutes from December meetings. Councilwoman Adams made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilman Niles seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Mayor Wyatt ask to amend the agenda to include a vote on approving funds for the Civil Ware Display Case.
Councilwoman Adams made the motion to approve the funds for the display case. Councilman Austin seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.

Councilman Austin reported no problems.
Sheriff’s Report
Captain Jenkins gave the report. The report is attached to minutes.

RECREATION
Mayor Wyatt gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
MAINTENANCE REPORT
No problems.
From the Floor
Hubert Long ask when the sewer project will begin. Mayor Wyatt advised they have begun the surveying and will break ground as soon as the weather clears.
ADJOURNMENT
After a prayer by Pastor Kenny Sheriff, Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Councilwoman Adams made a motion to close the meeting. Councilman Niles seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
