CALL TO ORDER Mayor Allen welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION Councilman Todd Rutledge lead the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Allen led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES Mayor Allen ask for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the November meeting Councilwoman Adams made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilman Barton seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Allen ask for a motion to approve the minutes from August meeting. Councilman Barton made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilman Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Approve Alcohol Renewals for 2017 Mayor Allen ask for a motion to renew the license for 2017. Councilman Wyatt made a motion to renew the license. Councilwoman Adams seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
Resolution to renew the line of credit Mayor Allen ask for a motion to adopt the resolution to renew the line of credit for the sewer project. Councilman Barton made the motion to adopt the resolution. Councilwoman Adams seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
DEPARTMENT REPORTS
ROAD AND STREETS Councilman Wyatt gave a report on Streets.
Sheriff’s Report Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report. The report is attached to minutes.
LIGHTS Councilwoman Adams report no light problems at this time.
RECREATION Councilman Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
MAINTENANCE REPORT Councilman Wyatt and Maintenance Supervisor Randy Wheat gave a report on the equipment and the need for some new tools. He was advised by the Council and Mayor to purchase what is needed to replace the old tools. Maintenance Supervisor Wheat also ask about something to spread salt if needed for the winter season. Councilwoman Adams is going to see what she can get for the Town.
ADJOURMENT Mayor Allen asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Councilwoman Adams made a motion to close the meeting. Councilman Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
