CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Councilmember Brant Talley led the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United
States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the
December meeting. Councilmember Adams made a motion to waive the reading of
the minutes. Councilmember Keese seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion
passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the
December meeting. Councilmember Adams made the motion to accept the
minutes. Councilmember Talley seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion
passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Swearing in of elected official Mayor Nathan Wyatt by attorney Brandon Bowen.
Councilmember Todd Rutledge and Councilmember Randall Keese sworn in by
Mayor Nathan Wyatt.

SHERIFF’S DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for December. The report is attached to minutes.
RECREATION
Councilmember Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
ROADS AND STREETS
No updates to report.
LIGHTS
No updates to report.
MAINTENANCE REPORT
Councilmember Talley reports on general maintenance duties as well as
distributing fruit baskets before the Christmas holiday. The LED light is on 24/7 at
Louise Lane due to tree shade. The Town has obtained permission from the
property owner to cut the tree. A hornet nest has impeded the tree removal.

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Adams
made the motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Rutledge seconded the
motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
