CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.

 

INVOCATION

Councilmember Brant Talley led the meeting in prayer.

 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.

 

MINUTES

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the May meeting. Councilmember Keese made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilmember Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the May meeting. Councilmember Adams made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilmember Talley seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.

 

 

 

 

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

ZONING  ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to table until July. Councilmember Adams made the motion. Councilmember Rutledge seconded. All in favor.

 

UPDATES & UNFINISHED BUSINESS

 

Fence Quote

Mayor Wyatt asked for motion to postpone until further notice. Councilmember Rutledge made the motion to postpone. Councilmember Adams seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.

 

DEPARTMENT REPORTS

 

 

SHERIFF’S DEPT

Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for May. The report is attached to minutes.

 

RECREATION

Councilmember Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.

 

ROADS AND STREETS

Nothing to report

 

LIGHTS

Nothing to report from Councilmember Adams. Councilmember Talley reports subdivision lights are all working.

 

MAINTENANCE REPORT

Councilmember Talley reports general maintenance and duties. Hauling trash and brush, mowing, clearing sidewalks, picking up trash from 41, setting up signs, clearing roads of pine straw debris. Councilmember Talley reports the 350 dump truck needs tires and check alignment.

Chad Steward gave updates on business in County.

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting.  Councilmember Talley made the motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Adams seconded the motion. All in favor.  Motion passed.
