CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Councilmember Brant Talley led the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the October meeting. Councilmember Talley made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilmember Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the October meeting. Councilmember Adams made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilmember Talley seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
2023-2024 Fiscal year budget
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to open voting for budget. Councilmember Talley made the motion. Councilmember Rutledge seconded. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the 2023-2024 budget. Councilmember Adams made the motion. Councilmember Rutledge seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.

DEPARTMENT REPORTS
SHERIFF’S DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for October. The report is attached to minutes.
RECREATION
Councilmember Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached. Councilmember Talley reports the recreation coordinator position has been filled and she is doing a good job.
ROADS AND STREETS
No updates to report. Mayor Wyatt introduced Randy Keese to the council. He will
be serving the roads and streets in January 2024.
LIGHTS
No updates to report.
MAINTENANCE REPORT
Councilmember Talley reports on general maintenance duties such as mowing and brush pick-up.
OPEN FLOOR
Randy Wheat reports ordering and changing some road signs to ensure visibility. Road barriers and other items will be ordered for future town use. Everything else is good currently.
Mayor Wyatt reports the town hall has been painted and trimmed on the exterior. The parking lot has been redone and striped. Everything looks great.
The Santa Claus event will be next weekend.
Councilmember Talley asked about the Farmer’s Market. Mayor Wyatt said that it was a good success, and he is ready for next year.

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Talley made the motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
